46 days of good luck…

It’s a stark contrast from the compounding bad luck Luckini had known before.  He came into our care in the wee hours of 2019 with painfully ulcerated eyes due to embedded grass seeds, fly strike painfully afflicting his head and a fractured elbow severely affecting his ability to walk. Whilst our onsite animal care team was able to immediately address the terrible strike and eye condition, advanced veterinary surgery was required to pin and plate the fracture, all setting Luckini on the road to recovery.

Edgars Mission - Luckini, Sheep-3

We’re delighted to report that with ongoing post-surgery management, including the assistance of daily laser therapy, Luckini’s recovery is coming along in leaps and bounds. We’re sure it’s only a matter of time until the brave lamb is literally leaping and bounding right alongside us. Luckini’s road to recovery has been paved by the kindness of our Five Dollar Friday community. For the cost of a soy latte each week, these kind hearts are truly changing lives for animals in need. Luckini is here today because you cared, we cannot thank you enough.

We’d love you to be a part of the community helping us change the luck of animals like Luckini. To find out more, head on over to www.fivedollarfriday.com.au
