Ordering and Tax Invoice

When you place an order with us we’ll send you a confirmation email straight away, so please ensure emails from [email protected] won’t get caught in your spam filter. Once your order has been processed and shipped we will send you a tax invoice and shipping notification.


When will you send my order?

Orders are sent via Australia Post and we always try our very best to dispatch them within 2 business days.

How is postage calculated?

The delivery costs for all Australian and international orders are based on the weight of your order, which is automatically calculated at checkout.

Domestic Shipping

Due to rising postage costs and delays starting in 2016 throughout Australia, we have made the decision to move to Express post for all of our products. Orders under 500g will be charged $10, between 500g and 3kg will be charged $15 and over 3kg will be charged $20. Please note Best Buddies are posted separately in an A4 envelope standard post to keep the price down.

I haven’t received my parcel?

If you have not received your order within 3 business days of receiving the confirmation of posting email, please contact us at [email protected] and quote your order number so we can track it down.

International Shipping

Why does international shipping take so long?

All international orders of merchandise will be sent using Airmail with tracking, which generally takes 5 to 10 business days. Sometimes it may take more than 10 days, especially during peak times, so please order early to avoid disappointment.

Why is international shipping so expensive?

All international orders of merchandise will be sent using Airmail with tracking. Airmail with tracking is more expensive than other options because items do get lost and Seamail has a 3-month timeline, so we feel this is the best way to get your merchandise to you quickly and reliably. We apologise for the higher prices, however we only charge our customers what we must pay to Australia Post.

Best Buddies

Best Buddies are posted separately in an A4 envelope using standard post to keep the price at a minimum, the same as previous years. If buying for a friend and they have not received their Best Buddy email pack on the start date, please ask them to check their spam folders and ‘promotions’ tab in Gmail. Please also check our Best Buddy Do’s and Don’ts before ordering.


Can I return/exchange my order?

Before ordering we strongly suggest you check the sizing charts available on each clothing page, as the sizes are different between styles.

Yes we generally accept returns and exchanges within 30 days, the exception being if you have received the product in good working order and then damaged it.

For exchanges on items of clothing that don’t fit, please post us back the item of clothing with a note specifying your order number, which size you would like and if it’s a men’s or women’s cut. Please also include a reply paid satchel.

Why do you not sell as many books anymore?

Due to the increase in postage costs and the free shipping provided by online book sellers, we have decided to reduce our book availability from our online store. We will continue sell our books The Gift of Kindness, Perfect Pigs and a select few Australian cookbooks online and at the sanctuary. We also still stock many ethics and recipe books at our farm for people to purchase after tours, but we feel if you are ordering books online it will be cheaper to buy from one of the many online retailers offering free shipping. We have created a list of our favourite books for you to add to your collection here.

Where do the profits from the online store go?

All profits from our online store go back into providing feed and care for the over 350 rescued farmed animals who call Edgar’s Mission home. It also supports our community outreach and advocacy work, including taking animal ambassadors on visits to schools and retirement homes.
